Open Mic Night - this is where it begins.

Wiseguys Open Mic is a weekly showcase of Las Vegas's best up-and-coming performers. Each show is a hilarious mix of professionals working on new material, amateur comedians working on their chops, and first-timers being thrown in the mix.

Wiseguys Open Mic is held every Wednesday at Wiseguys.

How do I sign up?

Please email wiseguysvegasopenmic@gmail.com and request a spot on the next open mic. You may submit one email request for yourself only up to one week before the next scheduled open mic. You may not request a spot several weeks in advance of the night you'd like to perform. Anyone interested in performing on Open Mic night must send in an email request; there are no longer sign-ups the night of the show. If you are selected to do a spot, we will respond to your email. It is up to you to check your email.

If you are a comic visiting from out of town, please email us and we will try to make room for you. All performers must be aged 21 or older.

How will I know if I'm on the show?

We will respond via email to everyone who will be on the open mic no later than 7pm the Tuesday before open mic. If you are selected, feel free to invite friends and family to come watch and support your performance. Admission is $5 for audience members and free for performers. It is your responsibility to check your email to see if you've been selected.

What if I'm not chosen to be on the show?

We do our best to give everyone an opportunity to perform but we can't always squeeze everyone on to the show because of high demand. If you are not selected to perform, keep sending in email requests. Be persistent and patient (and nice) and we will make sure you have an opportunity to take the stage. If you’re not selected, please come to the show and support anyway. Your support of the other open mic performers is noticed and appreciated and won’t hurt your chances to be selected for a future open mic.

Stand-by List: If any spots become available at 6pm on Open Mic night, then a stand-by list will be made available for performers who aren't already scheduled for that evening. There are no guarantees that a stand-by list will be available each week and will be determined at 6pm if there is any available room to add performers on to the show.

*A certain number of open mic slots are made available to touring professional comedians. If you are wondering whether or not you’re a touring professional, you’re probably not a touring professional. (Keep working hard and you’ll get there though)

I'm on the list, now what?

You must check in at the front desk no later than 7pm otherwise your spot will be forfeited and given to someone waiting on the standby list. No-shows are less likely to be given future performance opportunities at open mic night.

All scheduled performers get 3 minutes on stage. Please stick to your time. Show order is random and determined by that evening's emcee. Be sure to watch the countdown clock! Respect the time, audience, and other comedians.

Please stay out of the staff's way as they are very busy. Stay clear of the aisles. Also, you should order from a server and tip them. It's the right thing to do and good karma.

Open Mic is used as a starting ground for many comics, as well as a place to practice new material for veteran comedians. Some jokes may kill, others may bomb, but it's always a good time. Be sure to support those appearing on stage; it's not as easy as you think! Sit down and watch the show from an empty seat in the showroom. You never know...you might learn something!

Jesus Sepulveda is fresh off the release of his half-hour HBO special, "Mr.Tough Life". JEN KOBER is hilarious! And one of the top LGBTQ comedians working today. Jen is a rotating headlining comedian for Cirque Du Soleil's hit Las Vegas show MAD APPLE.

She has been featured in incredible TV shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Middle, The Real Husbands of Hollywood, and most recently appeared on the hit Peacock series Ted, and the Max series Bookie with Sebastian Maniscalco. You can spot Kober on several shows including RuPaul's Netflix sitcom AJ & The Queen, Dead to Me, The Righteous Gemstones for HBO, and The Purge on USA. Kober is the real deal - she has crafted a style born out of her humble Lake Charles, LA upbringing where she has always brought folks together by sharing a laugh. Joe Pera is a standup comedian, writer, and filmmaker from Buffalo, NY now living in New York, NY. Pera is best known for his Adult Swim series, 'Joe Pera Talks With You,' which The LA Times refers to as "TV’s quietest, most artful comedy". He has performed his subdued standup on Conan, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Comedy Central. You can also hear his voice on Bob's Burgers, F is for Family, and the Pixar film, Elemental. Devon Walker is a stand-up, actor and writer who is best known as a current cast member on "Saturday Night Live." Previously, Devon wrote for the Freeform series "Everything’s Trash" starring Phoebe Robinson and the Netflix animated series "Big Mouth." Originally from Austin, and now based in New York, Devon has been featured on Comedy Central, Don’t Tell Comedy, and Vulture.

Jeff Dye is a nationally touring comedian, actor and host. Jeff shot over 100 episodes of a new game show airing on Fox called “Who the Bleep is that?” and is currently filming his new comedy special, “The Last Cowboy in LA.” Jeff starred in NBC’s comedy adventure series “Better Late Than Never” and can be seen on episodes of “I Can See Your Voice” and “The Masked Singer” on Fox. Jim Norton is a stand-up comedian, radio host, actor, and a twice NY Times bestselling author. He hosts the podcast 'Jim Norton Can't Save You', as well as Sword Fight, the latter of which he co-hosts with his wife Nikki. His comedy specials can be seen on Netflix, MAX, Hulu, and Amazon. In addition to his stand-up specials, he has released 8 comedy albums. Throughout his career he has made multiple appearances on late night talk shows, and has appeared in several tv shows and films, including Martin Scorsese’s, The Irishman. A longtime fan of mixed martial arts, Jim is also the co-host of the official podcast of the UFC, "UFC Unfiltered with Jim Norton & Matt Serra". He lives in New York City.

Through his excellent storytelling and unique style, Shayne Smith is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about comedians on the scene. He most recently self-released a half-hour special Alligator Boys and previously released an hour-long special Prison for Wizards on YouTube and Facebook, which has amassed over 32 million views.

Kyle Kinane is an internationally touring comedian who has appeared on “Drunk History”, “@Midnight,” “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” “Conan,” “Workaholics,” “This Is Not Happening,” “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” and “Comedy Bang! Bang!” He is featured in Season 2 of Netflix’s “The Standups” released in February 2018. He invented science. He has ESP. He is a recurring character on Netflix’s “Love” created by Judd Apatow. He let someone else write most of this bio. He can swim backwards. He has released three Comedy Central specials: “Kyle Kinane: Loose in Chicago”, “I Liked His Old Stuff Better” and “Whiskey Icarus”.

Will Burkart is a Los Angeles based stand up comedian and actor. After growing up in the SF Bay Area, he moved out to LA and quickly established himself as one of the hardest working young comics on the scene. Given the massive popularity of his standup clips on social media, Will's fan base has skyrocketed, amassing over 1 million followers and more than 300 million views. In 2023, Will embarked on a 45 city nationwide tour selling out venues across the country. As the tour continues, Will headlined in the Netflix is a Joke festival, and recently shot his debut comedy special to air in summer 2025.

2024 is the year of Mojo Brookzz. He was one of the featured comics on 2024’s “We Them Ones Comedy Tour” headlined by Mike Epps and Deray Davis and the 85 South Comedy crew including Karlous Miller, Chico Bean and DC Youngfly. Add to that a run of headlining comedy clubs across the United States and also starring in VHI’s “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘n Out” and the feature film, “A Naughty Christmas Story,” on Tubi. Mojo was also featured this year in Lil Durk’s video, “Sad Songs,” which has had 8.5 million views on You Tube.

Mojo created his early fandom with his popular comedy sketches which attracted legions of fans. Initially using Facebook and Instagram but quickly embracing Tik Tok and Snapchat as well, he has gained a following of over 3.5 million people via social media, 908,000 on Instagram, 1.1 million on Facebook, 1.1 million on Tik Tok and 60,000 on Snapchat. Some of his popular work includes his nine- skit series titled “Thawt in My House,” and his spot-on mom and grand-mom impersonations, which elevated his popularity. But it was the “Mr James” (Sugardaddy) character that proved to be one of Brookzz’ first major breaks online. This character has catapulted Brookzz into a very well-deserved spotlight and helped him gain national attention and a bigger following.

The 34-year-old comedian started out doing comedy simply because he enjoyed it, and it was fun to do in his spare time. Little did he know his skits and jokes were making a difference in people’s lives. He started receiving direct messages from fans who watch him daily, expressing how his videos got them through a rough time, or simply brightened their day. Eric puts on a great show that earns him high praise with his unique blend of magic, charm and comedic wit. People referred to his amazing comedic tendencies and his ability with magic to being the perfect combination for a compelling and entertaining show. All of Eric’s tricks include audience members. KAM PATTERSON is a comedian from Orlando who is quickly gaining recognition for his sharp, high-energy sets and effortless crowd work. His comedy career started at just 10 years old when performing his debut set at his grandmother’s 50th birthday. Kam’s natural charisma and unique, upbeat humor most recently landed him a regular slot on the extremely popular KILL TONY show. He’s a rising star in the stand-up world and a frequent performer at the Comedy Mothership club in Austin, along with many other comedy venues in Austin and across the country. 

K Trevor Wilson, the Man Mountain of Comedy has spent over 20 years in entertainment. A star from the award-winning series Letterkenny, he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards and has also appeared on LOL: Last One Laughing Canada, What Would Sal Do, Showcase’s Billable Hours, NBC’s Darcy’s Wildlife and A&E’s Breakout Kings.

As a stand up comedian K Trevor has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s Roast Battles and multiple times at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal as well as the Moon Tower Comedy Festival and Oddball Comedy Festival.

His debut album, SexCop FirePenis reached the top of the iTunes Comedy Charts and was named Best Taped Live Performance at the 2015 Canadian Comedy Awards. His follow up, Sorry! (A Canadian Album) debuted at #1 on iTunes and was nominated for a 2018 Juno Award.

An award-winning comedian, Wilson received the 2012 Irwin Barker Homegrown award at Just For Laughs, the 2014 and 2015 COCA Comedian of the Year and was named Canada’s Best Male Stand Up at the 2015 Canadian Comedy Awards. Originally from Vancouver, Phil Hanley is a stand-up, actor, and writer who's a regular at NYC’s renowned Comedy Cellar. He has performed stand-up on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show, The Pete Holmes Show, and John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central. Lil Mo Mozzarella visited over 150 small business locations between 2020-2021 and his humorous food reviews and good deeds gained popularity when Barstool Sports posted his video and it went viral.

Lil Mo Mozzarella is a reoccurring character on Sidetalk, a popular New York video series and has also made public appearances at events like the 95th feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy, NY. Rick Glassman stars as Jack on the Amazon Original series As We See It, as well as Edward on the ABC sitcom Not Dead Yet.

A Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor, Glassman’s notable credits include a leading role in Bill Lawrence’s NBC ensemble sitcom, Undateable, as well as playing Harold Ramis in David Wain’s National Lampoon biopic, A Futile and Stupid Gesture. He also wrote, directed, and starred in an award-winning five-episode series, The Sixth Lead, based on his experience starring on Undateable.
